St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout’s expert blend of deeply roasted malts has made it an international medal winner, including one of the nine Platinum medals awarded at the 1994 World Beer Cup. McAuslan presents its New World take on the classic IPAs of the 19th-century England. In those days, the beers was brewed extra-strong and generously hopped to help it survive the long journey to India. Introducing our 25th anniversary beer: St-Ambroise Oak Aged! Brewed with Pale Malt, Crystal malt, toasted wheat and chocolate malt, this unfiltred, strong pale ale is hopped with Nugget, Cascade, Hallertau and Golding. The beer is then aged with oak to give the beer greater complexity. 6% alc./vol.

St-Ambroise Russian Imperial Stout is our tribute to the brawny ink-black beers crafted for the Russian Imperial House in the 18th century. Made from a blend of barley malts infused with Cascade, Goldings and Willamette hops, it’s aged in bourbon oak, giving it seductive vanilla, espresso and chocolate notes.

Brewed just once a year, St-Ambroise Vintage Ale has earned a bushed of international medals and praise. Its masterful blend of barley and wheat malts includes Munich malt, giving the unfiltered beer an appealing orange glow and superb malty flavour. You’ll love its notes of caramelized fruit, evoking memories of plum pudding, and refreshing hoppy finish.

St-Ambroise Tangerine IPA takes IPAs in a new direction with its combination of malts, hops and natural tangerine essence. Together with the classic IPA hops of Cascade, Chinook and Citra, this beer delivers a new and refreshing sensational Tangerine flavour and aroma.

This classic Dry Irish Stout is our tribute to this beer style. Black in colour, the flavour from the roasted malts is coffee-like with a slight acidity. This is complemented by the medium hop flavour and the very smooth finish. The low alcohol makes this a great session beer. Why not a fresh Irish stout brewed in Montreal.

St-Ambroise Milk Stout is a well balanced Stout with a slight sweetness from the lactose. The dark malt complexities of the caramel and chocolate malt and Roasted Barley blend wonderfully with the lactose giving the beer a great finish. The addition of Oats further enhances the smoothness and body. This full bodied beer pours beautifully into the glass exhibiting a rich mocha head along with a perfectly deep black color.

St-Ambroise Coffee Stout is a full-bodied Stout. Starting with caramel and dark malts and finishing with a locally supplied fresh espresso from Montreal Saint Henri Micro Torréfacteur— Holycow Espresso. These multitude of flavors of chocolate, bittersweet, caramel and, of course, espresso coffee blend together wonderfully to give the beer a mysterious complexity.

The New England IPA is a strong beer with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit and pineapple… a real citrus explosion! Don’t forget to make a wish if you see a hop in the sky…

This type of beer is extremely dry. Yet surprisingly refreshing!

A legacy to the traditional Brut IPA style.

Session de l’île is a hazy session NEIPA with a more tropical aroma and flavour than our regular NEIPA. This juicy NEIPA is made with Pilsner malt giving it a lighter colour. The beer also has a lower IBU than our regular NEIPA. Four varieties of hops added to the whirlpool and a massive dry hop infusion of six different hop varieties counterbalances the tropical flavours.

It’s tropical citrus flavours pair beautifully with a sunny afternoon or sinking your toes in warm sand.

The EXPLO2ION is a full bodied juicy NEIPA loaded with tropical flavours and aromas of passion fruit, mango and pineapple.

St-Ambroise Pale Ale 0.5% is our easy drinking, non-alcoholic pale ale.  The classic malt flavour along with its copper colour and Cascade hop aroma are our tribute to our iconic Pale Ale.
